Urea spray in apple orchard

.

As we all know our annually income  is totally depend on our orchards . If anyone fails to create quality fruits. Then it means we loose half of the income. So., to create quality fruits we must have watch over our orchards whole of the year. The one of the main reason, why we can't create quality fruits is scab. Scab is a main reason behind our quality fruits. If we fail to prevent scab in our orchards . We can't do anything to create quality apples. So what to do to prevent this scab From our orchards. .

some important things to work to prevent scab from orchards

  • Urea spray
  • Burn previous year leaves
  • Fungicides sprays
  • Watch on weather☀️☀️☀️☀️

Urea spray.

Nowadays most of the orchardist spray urea in their orchards. So they prevent scab in upcoming year. Urea actually decompose the previous years residue in orchards. As after the fruit harvest,  leaves start to fall after few weeks. As  the current years scab spores  falls also on ground and they start reproduce their population on these fallen leaves in dormancy period. So we spray urea  on ground and trees. so that we  make sure all these fallen leaves Will  decompose.when leaves decompose,it's mean we have prevent propogation of scab spore. And finally death of these spore. So, finally we can prevent scab from orchards.

How much urea we use to spray

The concentration of urea in 100 litres of water is 3:100 . Means, we use 3 kg of urea in 100 litres of waters. Before mixing urea and water solution, make sure  urea is  properly mixed with water.urea takes time to melt in water so use a stick and stir until it melts properly in water. And then mix required solution.

Burn previous year leaves.

In past years most of the farmers use leaves in their kitchen as fire πŸ”₯fire. And it in returns clean their orchards. But in modern days we use other types of fire woods like LPG gas. So, we have no use about these leaves, and these remain in orchard as it. Which creates havoc in previous years. as we know scab is on leaves and remain these in orchards. Which provides favourable environment for their propogation. If we want to prevent must have burn these leaves in orchards. If we have no use of them. After harvest and leaf fall make sure to burn these leaves.

Fungicides spray

One more important work we have to do  through out year  I, e fungicides spray. Choosing a right fungicides and spraying at right time is more important than choosing a high price branded fungicides. Before spraying a fungicides in orchards, we  must have a visit to orchards so, we gather all current situation in orchards and accordingly we choose a fungicide to spray.

Watch on weather

Weather have a  key role  in a success of good fruit quality. We have to remember it after fungicide spray at least 20 hours dry weather. If after spray their is raining 🌧🌧🌧🌧 it mean our spray goes to vain and we have to repeat this spray. If we not repeat spray then we face a serious infection  in our orchards.
